Rent-free Gas Bottles

All gas cylinders are supplied on a rent-free basis.
I.e. there are no recurring charges for bottle rental.

How it works

1. Pay a deposit to get a cylinder when you first buy gas.
2. Later on, buy gas refills in exchange cylinders.
3. At the end, return the cylinder to get your deposit refunded.

20% CO2/Argon Mix

Formulated for MIG welding of mild steel 6mm to 14mm+ thickness.

• Composition: 80% Argon, 20% Carbon Dioxide.
• For use on thick sections.
• Not generally used for pulsed arc, but excellent with cored wires.
• For hobby welders, the 9L cylinder is equivalent to 21 × 600ml disposable cylinders or 13 × 1L disposable cylinders.
• All cylinders have the same standard fitting as BOC, Air Products & Air Liquide.

Our prices are simple:

• When gas is sold in the first instance, there is a one-off bottle deposit to be paid on the cylinder.
• For refills we only charge for the gas supplied in the exchange cylinder.
• Return of an undamaged cylinder equates to a full refund of the original bottle deposit.
• There are no other costs, except for delivery when required.

All items are usually in stock; however, you are advised to check availability before your visit.
We are open to both trade and the public.

Generally we can deliver gas bottles to all locations within 10 miles of our premises for £8.95 + VAT.

It may take up to three working-days to accommodate your delivery.
We do not offer an express delivery service.
